About Centre for Youth Participation Dialogue and Advocacy (CYPA) Africa
Established in 2014 as a student-led initiative at the University of Jos, CYPA Africa has evolved into a leading non-profit organisation in Africa leveraging research, civic engagement, policy advocacy and youth development initiatives to shape a brighter future for Africa. Her work spans advocacy in elections and democracy, governance, human rights, peacebuilding, policy, diplomatic missions, legislative accountability, gender equality and youth engagements. The organisation has been at the forefront of civic advocacy and youth participation in Nigeria championing democratic reforms. Founded on the principles of inclusion, and social change, with a vision to create a society where young people are leading positive change, CYPA Africa is committed to see an equitable and prosperous Africa where young people are the catalysts.
