Excecutive Director CYPA AFRICA

Amb Chris Iyama is a Co-founder of the Centre for Youth Participation, Dialogue and Advocacy Africa, (CYPA) Africa. 

Chris Iyama in 2017 was appointed by Yiaga Africa as one of the 36 States Coordinators of the most Populous youth movement in Africa called Not Too Young To Run. A movement that championed the age reduction in Nigeria’s constitution to enable young people contest for elective political offices in Nigeria.

He is a recipient of so many local and international awards, notably amongst such awards, is the Future Africa Leaders award (FALA).

In 2018, Amb. Chris received the 10,000 Dollars Future African Leaders Awards for his contributions to the development of young people in Africa and contributing to social change in Nigeria.
